Kelly joined Lauber Municipal Law, LLC in 2020 and practices in the areas of general municipal law, prosecution, and litigation. Kelly is a graduate of the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Law, where she graduated six months early. She is also a graduate of Washburn University where she obtained her BA in Legal Studies.
After law school, Kelly was a judicial law clerk for the Honorable George Wolf, at the Circuit Court of Jackson County, Missouri. Prior to working for the Jackson County Court, she clerked for an employment discrimination firm. Kelly also worked as a paralegal for a criminal defense firm while attending undergraduate school. Because she has not limited her experiences to just one area of the law, Kelly is able to use her varied legal knowledge to better serve her clients, as well as her community.
Kelly enjoys being involved in the legal community in Kansas City. She was recently selected to participate in the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association (“KCMBA”)’s Ross T. Roberts Trial Academy. She is also an active member of the Association for Women Lawyers of Greater Kansas City (“AWL”) and serves on its Golf Committee. Originally from Manhattan, Kansas, Kelly currently resides in North Kansas City. In her free time, Kelly enjoys taking her dog to the ‘bark park’ and spending time with family and friends. She also enjoys traveling, going to football games, and playing sand volleyball.
