Justin T. Rogers joined Lauber Municipal Law in 2025, where he focuses on municipal prosecution, litigation, code and ordinance drafting, nuisance abatement, and public contracts.

On the very day he passed the bar in 2010, he independently founded Rogers Law Firm, P.L.L.C., a general practice firm in Des Moines, Iowa. His entrepreneurial spirit enabled him to represent hundreds of clients across a diverse range of legal matters, primarily in criminal and juvenile cases, gaining experience and quickly developing a reputation for excellence in advocacy. He secured countless favorable rulings, including several successful appeals before the Iowa Court of Appeals and the Iowa Supreme Court.

Mr. Rogers has extensive experience in criminal justice, having served both as a prosecutor and a United States Probation Officer, giving him a deep understanding of criminal prosecution and the realities of front-line law enforcement. As a probation officer, he worked directly with offenders, focusing on rehabilitation while ensuring compliance with the conditions of supervision. He conducted detailed investigations, assessing offenders’ needs and risk factors to promote accountability and reduce recidivism. As an experienced prosecutor, he has handled thousands of criminal cases, from bench trials to first-chairing complex felony prosecutions solo. His expertise includes domestic violence, substance-related offenses, and traffic safety. His unwavering dedication to criminal justice has been recognized through numerous awards and honors, underscoring his commitment to upholding the law and serving the public.
